The Rivers State Signage and Advertisement Agency (RISAA) has dissolved all its revenue agents, consultants, contractors and taskforce with immediate effect.
Managing Director of RISAA, Aye Pepple announced this via a statement he personally signed on Friday, March 15, 2024 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
“The Rivers State Signage and Advertisement Agency (RISAA) hereby announces the dissolution of all taskforce, revenue agents, consultants, contractors and representatives doing business on behalf of the agency with immediate effect.”
The statement announced that it will conduct a revalidation exercise at a soon to be announced date, advising all affected parties to be desist from any form of transaction with anyone claiming to act on its behalf.
“Furthermore, there will be a revalidation exercise, which commencement date will be communicated to all affected parties, and until this exercise is concluded the public is advised not to engage in any dealings with anyone on behalf of the agency.”
The agency reassured members of the public of a new dispensation of efficient and quality service delivery.
“RISAA reassures all stakeholders of a new era of efficient and quality service delivery.”
Aye Pepple, a former two term member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, was appointed the Managing Director of RISAA on Thursday, March 14, 2024, heralding a new era of managing advertisement and signage in the State.
