Immediate past Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha says he is now a teacher and also debunked the news that he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a video that went viral on social media on Thursday, May 30, 2019, Okorocha, who was rumoured to have been arrested, alongside his daughter, Uloma, was seen riding an open top jungle jeep and interacting with students of the Rochas Foundation College of Africa in Owerri, the state capital.
Unconfirmed reports have it that the former Governor, through his media handlers, shared the video of himself speaking with some of the students during their lunch break.
The Governor accompanied by his daughter, Lolo Uloma Nwosu can be heard saying, ‘I’m now a former governor and I’m ready to start teaching. What subjects would you like me to teach you’.
The EFCC has also denied the reports of Okorocha’s arrest after a Twitter user asked them about the authenticity of the news making the rounds online.
