After 25 tortuous days in the hands of his abductors, Bonny businessman, Mina Jumbo, has been released by his captors.

Jumbo, who was abducted on the midnight of January 26, 2020, is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Kristina Reports was unable to confirm if any ransom was paid to secure his release as at the time of this report and the Police was yet to make a statement on the issue.

He was kidnapped by hoodlums, who attacked his home in Bonny in January, shot him on his right leg, killed a policeman, wounded another and made away in a waiting speedboat at the Coconut Estate area of Bonny.

In their attempt to ward off the rescue efforts by the Police team, the daredevil criminals detonated three dynamites and deployed heavy ammunition at the scene of the incident at Oguede Community.
