BonnyChamber President, DG, Kristina Reports CEO, Others Assume Key Roles in NACCIMA

Renowned as the foremost advocate for the business community, the Bonny Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BonnyChamber), has continued to demonstrate its influence in the national business environment.

A statement on its website informed that the Bonny Chamber has recently secured seven pivotal leadership roles within the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).

Prominent among these positions were the recent election of its member and foremost maritime business mogul, Alabo Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji, OON, NPoM, DSSRS, as the 2nd National Deputy President of NACCIMA, and appointment of the President of BonnyChamber, Amairigha Hart into a prominent role as a NACCIMA Council member.

Following on the heels of these elevations is the appointment of the Director-General of BonnyChamber, Constance Nwokejiobi, as member of NACCIMA’s Standing Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AFCFTA) Committee.

Nwokejiobi, who currently anchors the 1st BITE of Bonny 2023, is the Country Executive Director of Wright Portfolio Consult Ltd, based in Lagos.

Also elevated to play the critical role of Rivers State Coordinator for NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs (NYE) is Walter LongJohn, who currently serves as Chairman of BonnyChamber’s Youth Entrepreneurs, and is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bonny Engineering and Maintenance Services Limited (BEMS), situated on Bonny Island.

Other members of BonnyChamber appointed into national positions include Andrew Imolohe, member, NACCIMA’s Standing Committee for Education and Training; Davies Obioma, member, NACCIMA’s Standing Committee on African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AFCFTA) Committee; Godswill Jumbo, member, NACCIMA’s Standing Committee for Publicity and Public Relations; Nkechi Manuba, member, NACCIMA’s Trade Group for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs/SDGs); and George Brown, member, NACCIMA’s Trade Group for Power/Renewable Energy.

Imolohe, who currently serves as Chairman, Finance Sub-Committee of the 1st BITE of Bonny 2023, is the Director of School at Faithword Embassy Academy, located on Bonny Island; while Obioma is the Chairman/CEO, Worldwide Environmental Technology Limited, headquartered in Port Harcourt.

On his part, Jumbo who serves as the Chairman, BonnyChamber’s Environmental Protection and Sanitation Trade Group and playing a crucial role in the planning committee for the 1st BITE of Bonny 2023, is the Managing Director/CEO of Kristina Business Consults Limited, owners of Kristina Reports, a virtual news magazine based in Bonny Island.

Manuba is actively involved in the planning committee for the 1st BITE and serves as the CEO of Obluchi Initiatives; while Brown, who serves as Chairman, BonnyChamber’s Trade Group for Marine and Logistics and Chairman, Sub-committee for the 1st BITE of Bonny 2023, is the CEO of AUGJ Logistics, operating from Bonny Island.

The Bonny Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, which is currently a member of the International Chambers of Commerce, has continued to make significant strides in fostering economic growth and representing the interests of the organized private sector both locally and nationally.
