Bonny-Born Teacher, Soibifaa Charles Tolofari Emerges Nigeria’s Top Teacher of 2024

Bonny Kingdom in Rivers State, Nigeria glimmered with glory recently as one of her daughters, Soibifaa Charles Tolofari emerged the Best Teacher in Nigeria 2024.

Her kindred, the people of Bonny erupted with elation as the hard-working Soibifaa Charles Tolofari was announced the Best Teacher in Nigeria 2024.

Checks by Kristina Reports indicate that screening for the best teacher was conducted by the Rivers State Ministry of Education in August 2024 where Tolofari emerged as the best in the State.

Then on Saturday, October 5, 2024 she was selected as the best in the federation by the Federal Ministry of Education at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Reacting to the recognition, the recipient of the award, Soibifaa Charles Tolofari, who is a teacher at State Primary School, Rumueme, Port Harcourt, expressed her happiness at the award.

She noted that it has been her lifelong dream to be a teacher and is very elated that she has become a successful one at that.

“Though my mother was a teacher, but I never knew I could be one. I studied Accounting in the university, but as destiny may have it, I became a professional teacher, and I have no regrets about that.”

She noted that the award serves as a motivation for her to do the job she likes doing and stated that she is excited about the future as she will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the students under her tutelage get the best form of education possible.

“This award is a deep motivation for me, and I promise to keep giving my best, because teaching has become a passion and a thing of joy for me.

“I may not be the overall best in Nigeria in terms of teaching, but base on self-assessment, I am doing well, and will continue to offer better services to the children in my care.”

Born on Saturday, January 4, 1986, Soibifaa Charles Tolofari, who hails from Kalaibiama Community in Bonny LGA of Rivers State, attended Government Secondary School, Idama and the University of Port Harcourt, Choba before her employment as a teacher by the Rivers State Ministry of Education.
