Asimini Line, Bonny Kingdom’s ferry line, has expressed its gratitude to its esteemed customers for their patronage during its pilot commercial service, which ended two days ago as it also announced that it was goes on recess.
It further stated that the service, while it lasted, recorded zero security or safety incident and also ensured security presence and traffic on the waterways during the yuletide season, which, it said, was a clear and positive departure from the experience of years ago.
Director General of the Bonny Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BOCCIMA), Constance Nwokejiobi, who stated this in a statement she personally signed and made available to Kristina Reports on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Bonny, Rivers State, also announced the service was proceeding on a break to resume in the New Year.
“Dear Esteemed Customers on Asimini line. Thank you for your support and patronage within our pilot commercial service this Yule tide period. The experience was awesome and we are pleased.”
We have taken note of your feedbacks and will improve a lot more. We also credit this service to the security presence and traffic in the waterways and operating with zero incident on safety and security.

The pilot commercial service, which conveyed passengers between the NIWA Jetty, Marine, Port Harcourt and Coal Beach, Bonny, commenced on Monday, December 20, 2021 and wrapped up on Monday, December 27, 2021.
