AOS Orwell Donates Educational Materials to Finima School, Boosts Learning Aspirations

AOS Orwell has reaffirmed its commitment to education and community development with the presentation of essential educational materials to Community Primary School, Light House, Finima, in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The intervention, which is the sixth consecutive Back-to-School Initiative and Scholarship Disbursement by the company, took place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The initiative, which is in conjunction with the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), is expected to support the learning needs of pupils and strengthen efforts to improve access to educational resources in the host community.

Speaking during the presentation, Contract Manager of AOS Orwells MSC Project in Bonny, Favour Ojukwu said education remained fundamental to growth and development, stressing that every Bonny student deserved access to the resources required to build a sustainable future.

Ojukwu noted that building a better future required more than declarations, emphasising the need for conscious and consistent investment in the people who would inherit and shape that future.

“The most meaningful investment any business can make in its people is an investment in their education,” he said.

The presentation was witnessed by the Amadabo of Finima, who was represented by the Chairman of the Finima Development Committee, Owuna Fenibo.

The donation represents a practical contribution to the educational aspirations of the beneficiary pupils, providing support that can help enhance their learning experience and encourage them to pursue their academic ambitions.
