The Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Grand Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, DSSRS, JP, Edward I, has extended his felicitations to Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

In his congratulatory message on Monday, January 27, 2025, which he signed by himself and made available to Kristina Reports, King Edward I described Governor Fubara as “a humane compatriot, humble and dedicated to the progress of the people of Rivers State”.

“As a proud Ibani son and a worthy leader of the Ijaw Nation, your exemplary leadership, humility, and dedication to the progress of Rivers State inspire confidence in a brighter future. Your tenure has been marked by resilience, wisdom, and a steadfast focus on the collective good of our people”.

While wishing him a happy golden jubilee birthday, King Pepple prayed God to bless Governor Siminalayi Fubara with good health, wisdom and fortitude to navigate the responsibilities of governance.

Recall that the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, who holds the highest and highly revered Ibani national title of Amaopusenibo, though having his roots in the Fubara War Canoe House of Opobo Kingdom, also hails from the Dublin Green Chieftaincy House of Bonny Kingdom.

The accolades from the Leader of Ibani race, King William Dappa Pepple III is apt given the resilience, resourcefulness and rendition of courage epitomized by the Governor of Nigeria’s oil and gas capital in the almost two years he has sat on the saddle of governance in the State.
