Beauty Queen calls for Collective Response to COVID-19

Face of Culture Beauty Queen, Pirinye Bristol has called on every segment of the Nigerian society to stand together at  this critical threshold of the nation’s history to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

She also enjoined Nigerians to keep their hope alive in the firm belief that collectively the nation would overcome the pandemic.    

Queen Pirinye Bristol made this call when she kickstarted her pet project, Project PAP (Prayers, Assistance and Precaution) at the Treasure Orphanage Foundation in Abuja.

The Beauty Queen, who hails from Bonny in Rivers State, explained that Project PAP was “a campaign and a clarion call to all religious bodies and denominations, government at all levels, traditional rulers, the organized private sector, non-governemental organizations, high networth individuals, and the general public to use their resources to assist one another to fight against COVID-19”.

“Let us support the efforts of the government and agencies out there. This is the time for us as a people and a nation to strive to help one another in any little way we can, now more than ever before. We are availing ourselves for service to the people by providing them with necessary provisions and relief materials to assist them stay indoors via your contributions and support.”

According to a statement by her handlers, Cultural Innovation Precision, the Face of Culture Queen appealed to all religious bodies across the country to join her group in prayers against the pandemic while observing the stay at home curfew imposed by government at levels.

“All religious bodies should join us in prayers against COVID-19 even as we observe the stay home curfew for our safety. This is the time for us all to Unite as one against this Pandemic (COVID-19).

At the launch of the Project PAP, Queen Pirinye Bristol and her managers, Cultural Innovation Precision donated food items and other relief materials to the children at the orphanage.

In a chat with Kristina Reports, Queen Pirinye’s manager and Founder/Chief Executive of Cultural Innovation Precision, Samuel Ukpong said “the Queen was at Treasure Orphanage Foundation where she gave the children some assistance in form of food items, provisions and other relief materials. This move was boosted by the support we got from sponsors, friends and family.”

“We also took a 1000 piece puzzle and other games to the orphanage home and challenge the children to a ‘COVID-19, 14 day Puzzle Challenge’ because this time is important to stimulate and keep the mind of the children active, especially being that they are not able to run outside to play at this time.”

“The Face of Culture Queen presented all this to the lovely children at Treasure Orphanage Foundation, Phase 2, Karu Site,Abuja Nigeria. However, she wants to do more with partnership and support to Project PAP from well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies.”

He further revealed that “the Queen and her management are endeavouring to give out provisions and sanitizers to more people who cannot afford them because all hands needs to be on deck for us all to come out victorious against this Pandemic. We can only help ourselves when we help others survive this pandemic so as to contain the spread of the Virus”.
