Kuwait SC responded strongly after falling behind, with Taha Yassine Khenissi restoring parity before Amoory completed the turnaround to put the home side ahead.
As Al-Arabi searched for a way back into the game, Iwuala once again stepped up. In the 78th minute, the Nigerian produced another precise pass to set up Zaid Qunbar, who calmly finished to make it 2-2 and reignite his side’s hopes.
