Just as the anointing on Prophet Elijah raised a dead man years after he was dead and buried, the covenant establishing Revelation International Bible Ministry (RIBM) will be an eternal blessing on Bonny Kingdom and beyond.
This declaration was made yesterday by Senior Pastor of Gateway International Church, Pastor George Izunwa during the Official Opening/Dedication of the magnificent church cathedral of Revelation Ministry with the theme: ‘Victory is Sure. 1 Cor. 15:57’, along King Perekule Bypass, Bonny.
Revelation Ministry was founded by late Bishop-elect Uriah Benstowe in February, 2010 and formally declared open on March 28, 2010. A vision that was divinely bequeathed to him in June, 2009 became a convergence of worship and arena of blessing for many.
His wife, Pastor Carol Benstowe succeeded him upon his demise in 2017 as the Senior Pastor and continued the construction project of the headquarters building, which was completed in November, 2019 and dedicated to the glory of God yesterday by Pastor Izunwa.
Delivering his sermon during the ceremony, Pastor Izunwa said “though the man (Bishop-elect Uriah Benstowe) is no longer here, God is here. And the covenant he had with God that established this church will be a blessing to many today and years later”.
“The anointing on Elisha worked many years after his death, so will the covenant establishing this place. You will experience the power of God in this place. You will see the glory of God in this place. This place will be a blessing to this land and beyond”.
Earlier, in her Welcome Speech, Senior Pastor of the church and wife of her ate founder, Pastor Carol Benstowe expressed appreciation to God for being there for the ministry through all her challenges and brought it out victorious.
She enumerated the achievements of the ministry despite the challenges, one of which was the completion of the church cathedral, noting that “God used men and women as instruments of His grace to bring this wonderful achievement to reality’.
She called on everyone to key in to God’s blessings by supporting revelation Ministry in her evangelizing efforts and life impacting programmes, saying that God’s blessings follow those who invest in His cause on earth.
Highlight of the ceremony was the ordination of some ministers to support the Senior Pastor. Those ordained are Pastor Kingsley George as Assistant Pastor, Amonia Benstowe, Elder, Dickson Uduka, Deacon, Favour Chinedu, Deaconess, Praise Halliday, Music Pastor, Laurita Benstowe, Minister, Gift Mojaye, Evangelist, and Esther Dickson, Folakemi Olaleye, and Regina Mark, Ministers-in-training.
