The Bonny Local Government will continue to deliver projects and programmes aimed at creating happiness for the people of the area, Chairman of the LGA, Dame Anengi Claude-Wilcox said.
Dame Claude-Wilcox said this on Sunday, January 14, 2024 during an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the St. Stephen’s Cathedral Church, Bonny, Rivers State.
She stated that her administration’s development agenda is borne out of divine vision, spurred by a commitment to do whatever is possible to make the people happy, noting that “as long as the people are happy, we are fulfilled and will continue to do all that we can”.
In his homily titled “Achieving Your Vision by Constantly Hearing from God”, Chaplain of the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Rev. Bright Odimi stated that the secret to achieving our visions in life is to constantly hear from God, urging the congregants to endeavour to study the word of God on a daily basis.
He, however, warned that “wrong people around your life can drown your vision,” admonishing that ‘you need to connect with the right people, people who can add value to your life”.
