Tobin Has Already Emplaced Comprehensive Template for Educational Development – Supervisor

The Chairman of Okrika Local Government Area in Rivers State, Akuro Tobin has put in place a template that is all-inclusive and comprehensive to ensure that children in the area receive the best education and wholesome intellectual development, Kristina Reports has learnt.

The Supervisor for Education in the Okrika Local Government Council, Nemi Ajubo, who said this on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in an exclusive interview with Kristina Reports in his office in Okrika, explained that the plan was a thorough one and would yield amazing results in the days coming.

He expressed profound gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve as the Supervisor of Education, appreciating the Okrika LGA Chairman for finding him worthy to serve his kinsmen and women in that capacity and help actualize his developmental vision of raising the next generation of Okrika intelligentsia.   

“I’ll say it is the magnanimity and forthrightness of the Executive Chairman of Okrika Local Government to have recommended us for appointment to various offices,” Ajubo said, noting that he is very certain that he is not the most qualified out of the over 450,000 citizens in Okrika, thanked the Almighty for his benevolence, .

The Education Supervisor also gave a positive remark on the achievements recorded so far in the Education sector by the Okrika LG Chairman, stating that the Akuro Tobin led administration in the area has done a lot after reviewing the year’s budget.

“He had already laid the foundation to do more work; so my job here is very simple,” he posited, adding that his duty was to ensure that all educational plans are achievable and come to actualization.

Again, he noted that the template formulated by the current administration in the LGA covers all sectors of the educational environment from primary to tertiary institutions, pointing out that it will pave way for infrastructural development, provision of stationeries, and welfare of both students and teachers.

Nemi Ajubo explained that there is also a plan to assist children from underprivileged families who may not be able to afford their examination fees to write their senior secondary examinations, adding that the government was considering purchasing forms and pins and also organise summer lessons for them so that they can be properly nurtured for the examinations.
