Grace Iringe-Koko, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, has been appointed as acting Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Rivers State Command.
Prior to this appointment, Iringe-Koko, who hails from Okolobiri Town in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, was the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Command.
She takes over from Nnamdi Omoni, a Superintendent of Police, who has now been redeployed as the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Elimgbu Division in Obio/Akpor LGA of the State.
A statement by the outgoing Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Nnamdi Omoni stated that “DSP Grace Woyengikuro Iringe-koko was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Recruit Constable in 2000 and later elevated to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree BSC and MSC in Mass Communication”.
He expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alkali Usman, the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Zone 16, Don Awunah, the State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday, and the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Frank Mba, for “the opportunity to serve and realize my full potentials. I promise to justify the confidence reposed in me and at all times be willing to serve in any capacity”.
Meanwhile, the acting PPRO, Grace Iringe-Koko expressed appreciation to the State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday, and his leadership team for the opportunity to serve, promising to consolidate on the legacies of her predecessor, while soliciting for the cooperation of the general public to succeed in her new appointment.
