The Pollyn Chieftaincy House says the peaceful atmosphere, socio-economic and socio-political advancements the Kingdom has made so far is attributable to the leadership, dexterity and profound love exuded by His Majesty, King Dr. Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, JP, Perekule XI, Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Grand Bonny Kingdom.
The Chief and Head of the House, Chief Dr. Mieibima Jere Walter Pollyn, said this in a Congratulatory message to the Bonny Monarch, which he personally signed and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Bonny, Rivers State.
“It is with great humility, respect and honor, that we, the POLLYN CHIEFTAINCY HOUSE, would like to use this opportunity to congratulate your MAJESTY, KING (DR) EDWARD ASIMINI WILLIAM DAPPA PEPPLE III, EDWARD I, PEREKULE XI, CON, JP, AMANYANABO AND NATURAL RULER OF ANCIENT GRAND BONNY KINGDOM, on the 25th Anniversary of your reign as the KING of Ancient Grand Bonny Kingdom.”

According to the statement, the Pollyn Chieftaincy House congratulated King William Dappa Pepple III on the anniversary of his 25 years reign, so far, and prayed for God’s divine blessings on him, his immediate family, the Perekule Royal family, and the good people of ancient Grand Bonny Kingdom.

Heralded by the shooting of 21 canons on the morning of Friday, December 17, 2021, Bonny Kingdom in Rivers State swung into celebrative mood as they swung into various activities marking the silver jubilee anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty, King Dr. Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, JP, Perekule XI, as Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Grand Bonny Kingdom.
Men, women and youths participated in an Amaboro (street parade) shortly after the canon shots by 6.00am on Friday, followed by a Dedication/Thanksgiving Service at the oldest church in Nigeria, the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Bonny, as well as other churches across Bonny, and then live performance by the Nigeria LNG Choral Group at the King Perekule Palace later that evening.
