Bonny-born engineer, labour unionist, entrepreneur, and knight of the Anglican Communion, Lady Ilamina Hart on Saturday, May 18, 2019 laid her late father, Warisenibo Godspower Dagogo Herbert Banigo to rest at Banigo village in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The late sage, popularly known as ‘Dede Power’, was born on 27th July, 1945 but passed on peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Euro-Care International Hospital, Lagos.
A very sociable and affable personality, who enjoyed the company of people, Dede Power, one of the founding members of the Bonny Marine Transport Association (BMTA), was a devoted family man who prioritized the wellbeing of his family.
Friends and well-wishers were on hand to avail emotional support to Lady Ilah Hart, her husband, Sir Opuada, and siblings as they paid their last respects to the deceased.
