Explore the frontiers of creativity, determine to succeed – Youth Resource Centre Boss

In a swirl of excitement, the the 3rd edition of the Youth Festival of Life kicked off yesterday with a call on young people to explore the frontiers of creativity, innovation and imaginative aspirations.

 

This call was made by the Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Resource Centre, Bonny, organizers of the annual youth festival, Excel Ukpohor.

 

In his welcome address at the event, which held at the Ibanise Hall, Akiama, Bonny, Ukpohor said there were no barriers to the drive for creativity where youths show determination to succeed.

 

Also speaking, the Secretary of the King Perekule Palace, Bonny, Chief Abel Attoni advised participants at the event to maximize the opportunity to grow their knowledge base, stressing that the future will need all the information,  knowhow and skills acquired today.

 

Attoni, who is also the Chief and head of Attoni Chieftaincy House of Bonny Kingdom, advised the youths to be acquainted with the culture and tradition of their homeland, noting that these remain the bedrock of stable societies anywhere.

 

Highlights of the event attended by the Vice Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Anengi Barasua, and Chief and head of Ada Allison Chieftaincy House, Chief Dagogo Ada-Allison, included cultural and drama presentations by various participating schools.
