Vice Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Anengi Barasua says her emergence as the Best Chairperson in the Trendsetters Awards will spur her to greater performance and value addition to society.
Barasua said this today in a chat with Kristina Reports shortly after receiving the award in Port Harcourt.
The Special Adviser to the Chairman of Bonny LGA on Women Affairs, Patience Green, received the award on behalf of the Bonny LGA Number Two.
“This will challenge my future performance positively because to whom much is given much is expected,” she noted.
“I pray for God’s grace to enable me serve and perform better than I have previously done.”
The Bonny LG Vice Chairman said she dedicated the award to God Almighty, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and her counterparts in the 22 other LGAs in the State.
“I dedicate the award to Almighty God for making all things possible and to the most gender-friendly Governor, His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, who mandated that all 23 Vice Chairmen are women.”
“I also dedicate this award to the other 22 Vice Chairmen who have been steadfast, loyal and committed to the call.”
She thanked her “friends, well-wishers, loved ones and my family for supporting me,” reiterating her commitment to greater service to the people and the State.
