The Global Poet Emerges Winner of DTH Season 4
Talented poet and singer, Debi Johnson who goes by the stage name “The Global Poet” has emerged as the winner of the 4th season of the D9jaspirit Talent Hunt.
The poet came up above 30 other contestants after a 9 week vigorous competition process and was declared the winner of the season by a collation of 70% audience vote and 30% judges vote.
The grand finale of the event which took place at Calabar International Convention Center, Cross River State on Sunday, November 9,2025, had in attendance over 3,000 audiences who had come to witness the grand finale of the show.
Speaking on the win, The Global Poet expressed her gratitude to her fans who supported her vigorously through a post on her Facebook handle.
“Last season I auditioned for @de9jaspirittalenthunt and got in but God didn’t allow me go for the show and for the first time in two years I think understand why.”

The show also had 13 year old Jeremiah FJ Sax, a saxophonist, coming as the first runner up and visually impaired singer, Chris Vic as the Second Runner up.
