The Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC) says it is poised to provide those affected by the road expansion project from Shell gate to Coal Beach an avenue to express any concerns they have.
Chairman of the BKDC Complaints Sub-Committee, Amaopusenibo Furosia Julius Wilcox, said this on Tuesday, February 7, 2024 in a chat with Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State.
He announced that those with any form of complaints, observations, suggestions relating to and limited to the road expansion project have between now and Thursday, February 15, 2024 to send them to the Committee.
He advised that such complaints, observations, suggestions should be sent in writing and addressed to the Chairman of the Bonny Kingdom Development Committee or visit the BKDC Office at the Bonny Information Centre adjacent Ibani-Se Hall at Coconut Estate, Bonny.
He stressed that complaints that are not related to the road expansion project would not be entertained by the Committee, adding that those who have submitted their own complaints prior to this time should not bother to submit again.
Amaopusenibo Wilcox explained that the purpose of availing residents, especially property owners, business operators and other categories of impacted residents along the project’s right of way is aimed at addressing any concerns on the right of way ahead of the commencement of the project.
