The traditional ruler, however, maintained that the apparent political discord between the State Governor and the Minister of the FCT is essentially a family matter, stressing that it should be resolved amicably, devoid of undue external influence or interference.

King Ogube admonished the citizens of Rivers State to refrain from making provocative statements that could further inflame the already tensed political climate, asserting that the path to sustainable development can only be realized when the State is characterized by unwavering peace, unity, and stability, noting that peace and reconciliation serve as a beacon of hope during these challenging times in Rivers State.
