King Edward I Inaugurates Benswitch Premium Hotel in Bonny
The Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Grand Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, JP, DSSRS, Perekule XI, has inaugurated the Benswitch Premium Hotel in Bonny, Rivers State.
The official opening of the exquisite hotel, which took place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, further underscores the consolidation of Bonny Kingdom’s growing hospitality sector.
Applauding the vision, resilience and hardwork of the hotel’s proprietor, Loveday Benstowe, the Monarch described the establishment as “a testament to the expanding spirit of enterprise and hospitality within the Bonny Kingdom”.
In an emotion-laden speech, the proprietor, Loveday Benstowe expressed gratitude to the Amanyanabo for his consistent fatherly support and encouragement.
He also appreciated members of his Omu’Aru Burusu (family unit) of the Benstowe Chieftaincy House of Bonny Kingdom for honouring him with an award, describing the recognition as a motivation to do more for the Kingdom.
