Imo: Ihedioha Comes Under Attack As He Intensifies Attack On Okorocha

As Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha tackles his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, he has come under severe attacks by stakeholders in the State who view his actions as vindictive.

The latest attack was from Okorocha’s son-in-law and Action Alliance candidate in the 2019 governorship elections in the State, Uche Nwosu, who accused Ihedioha of being unprepared for governance.

Nwosu said Ihedioha’s complains of having no handover notes to work with were only excuses to buy him time for having no plans on how to govern the state, advising him to immediately unveil his plans and get to work if he was really ready to govern the State.

He cautioned him against frantically trying to rubbish the image of Okorocha.

Kristina Reports learnt that Nwosu was reacting to Ihedioha’s claims that the former chief executive did not leave behind handover notes as required.

“Ihedioha showed that he is not serious and does not seem to have any cut-out plan or blueprint for governance, except the desperation to grab power”.

“The people of Imo State did not vote for him to start chasing shadows. For the time he will stay as the Governor, he should unfold his plans and programme for the people.”

“No one is interested in excuses, what the people want is performance and nothing less. The people want concrete statement on what the programmes of the government are, what the government intends to do and how it would deliver dividends of democracy to them and not embarking on a mission to pull down Rochas Okorocha”.

Okorocha had earlier counselled Ihedioha to focus on governance instead of wasting valuable time trying to blackmail him, dismissing claims by Ihedioha that his administration failed to handover before leaving office.
