Ace entertainer and Port Harcourt based musician, Ibitoru Green, popularly known as Lady IB, said she is now back to the entertainment industry after surviving skin cancer.
The veteran live stage performing artiste, known for her soulful rendition of old school music, Lady IB, in a chat with Kristina Reports Entertainment, said she was the only surviving patient out of seven, who, as a result of the pandemic, could not travel out of the country for cancer treatment.
She explained that she battled to stay alive for six months during the process of the skin cancer treatment in the United States.
The Live stage performing Queen lamented that the Entertainment industry across the globe has been crippled by the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic and adversely affected her come back to the industry given the government imposed COVID-19 protocols on social activities, which she said were also limiting her activeness in the showbiz industry.
Lady IB, who hails from Greens Iwoama in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, called on the state government to review the laws on social activities so as not to put the entertainment industry into extinction.
