There is massive pandemonium as the people of the area hold a protest and counter protest over the deplorable state of roads in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Kristina Reports correspondents on ground at Okehi are reporting that a large number of Etche sons and daughters trooped out en masse this morning to protest the deplorable state of roads in the LGA.

The protest, which was called for by a group of Etche indigenes led by two traditional rulers in the area, Chief Noble Nwugha and Chief Kemakolom Nwanuo to hold today, Monday, July 6, 2020, was aimed at calling the attention of government at all levels to the bad state of roads in the area.

In a dramatic, however, Kristina Reports can also report that the Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Etche LAG, Promise Nwankwo has also led a counter protest aimed at exonerating the state and local governments from responsibility for the poor state of the roads in Etche LGA.

Nwakwo is also reported to be calling for the arrest of the organizers of the main protest, Chief Kemakolom Nwanuo and Chief Noble Nwugha.
