Evomec Global Services Limited (EGSL) says its passionate commitment to Education was anchored on its conviction that it was the surefire way of securing the future of Nigerian children.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EGSL, High Chief Peter Esievo stated this in a statement he personally signed and made exclusively available to Kristina Reports on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
“At Evomec, we are passionate about supporting Education through funding, partnerships and initiatives because our commitment is anchored on our belief that Education is the surest route to securing the future of Nigerian children.”
“The scholarships, provision of school books, funding of educational initiatives, among other critical support are Evomec’s love language to Nigerian children. We pledge to sustain this gesture given the positive outcomes we have witnessed, especially, the assurance and hopes of a secure future imparted in the benefitting children in various schools.”
The Evomec CEO asserted that “May 27 every year, a national day to celebrate the importance of children, should provide government at all levels, corporate bodies and families with an opportunity to consider the personal and wholesome development of Nigerian children”.
Kristina Reports checks indicate that May 27 is traditionally the children’s holiday in Nigeria. It was first established by the United Nations (UN) in 1964, and the day remains important in the lives of many Nigerian kids.
Usually, special activities such as march past by various schools in various towns and cities, charity events, family get-together, picnics, and visits to orphanages, amongst others are lined up to mark the day every year.
High Chief Esievo congratulated children across the globe on this special day, urging them to pay close attention to the guidance and counsel of their parents and teachers in order to get the best out of life, assuring that Evomec, as a corporate entity, would continue to work for their interest in partnership with both public and private sector stakeholders.
