Evomec Chairman, High Chief Esievo Bags Most Valuable Philanthropist Award
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Evomec Global Services Limited (EGSL), High Chief Peter Onajite Esievo has been honoured with the Most Valuable Philanthropist Award for 2025 by the Isioghene Compassionate Foundation.
The award, which is in recognition of his generosity and continuous support for the less privileged, aged, students and all his selfless service to humanity, was presented to him at his country home in Oviorie-Ovu, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Present during the brief ceremony were family members, friends, and community leaders who gathered to celebrate him for his outstanding contributions to humanity.
Reacting to the award, High Chief Esievo expressed gratitude to God for the grace to give back to the society, while reflecting on how God chose to bless despite his humble background.
“I grew up not even having anybody to give me a bottle of water, but when God decided to bless me, I realized that the purpose of his blessing is for me to serve humanity.”
“So, even if I have little, I prefer to share it with those who do not have, especially during festive seasons and every other time.”
High Chief Esievo, who is also known for his annual community football tournament, explained that the aim of the event is to foster unity among the people, noting that “football is a unifying factor, not only in Nigeria but all over the world”.
“I organize the annual tournament to bring the people of Agbor Kingdom and Delta State together so that we can see ourselves as one.”
He expressed his gratitude to the Isioghene Compassionate Foundation for finding him worthy of the prestigious award, stressing that the recognition serves as a source of inspiration that will spur him to do more for the society at large.
Earlier, Director General of the Foundation, Patrick A. said the award was a testament of his kindness, generosity and selfless services, describing him as a man whose compassion continued to bring hope and unity to his people and beyond.
He noted that High Chief Peter Onajite Esievo was chosen for the prestigious award because the Foundation had keenly followed the various acts of sacrifice, he has made for his people out of his own magnanimity, advising him to continue the good work as God will surely reward and elevate him.
