SETTLEMENT OF ACCRUED MONEY: DEMAND NOTICE

We write to formally request from the Jumbo Major House, the outstanding payment of accrued money due the John-Jumbo Chieftaincy House of Grand Bonny Kingdom. The sum of Nine Hundred and Fifty-Five Million Naira (N955,000,000) being outstanding money not paid from 1974 till 2024 by the Jumbo Major House from proceeds of our collective asset at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), Bonny Terminal.

For avoidance of doubts, you may refer to 1958 agreement between SPDC with the Jumbo House and Brown House.

As you are aware, John umbo House has contributed significantly to community and the well-being of our dear kingdom. The outstanding payment, which has been pending for some decades, is crucial for maintaining our almost eroded community

We kindly urge the Elders Council to prioritize the processing of this payment at your earliest convenience, but not later than seven working days from date of receipt of this letter. Prompt resolve of this matter will reinforce our ancestral commitment to unity and progress within the Jumbo House and the Great Ancient Kingdom of Grand Bonny.
