As the peoples, organizations and public sector institutions mark the 2022 World Environment Day, Evomec Global Services Limited (EGSL) has reaffirmed its corporate determination to continue to coalesce with relevant stakeholders to protect the environment.

Managing Director of EGSL, Chief Peter Esievo, came out with this in an interview with Kristina Reports on Friday, June 3, 2022, stated that “as an environmentally compliant and pro-earth company we join the rest of the world to converge on this year’s theme: “Only One Earth”.

According to the Evomec Chief Executive, emplacing strategies and operational principles that ensure that the environment is protected remains the cardinal pillars of EGSL’s corporate policy thrust, stressing that the general outlay of the company’s activities is anchored on its compassion for the environment.

“You can notice from our personnel to equipment to vehicles and generally our operational activities, you would see that meticulous attention to attitudes that are protective of our earth, after we have only one earth to live in, to protect and nurture.”

“We are compassionate towards the environment and we ensure that this perception is inculcated into our staff at all our project sites. Evomec loves the environment and we would continue to partner with others including our clients, regulatory agencies, government at all levels and NGOs to see that our dear mother earth is protected.”

Chief Esievo called on government agencies charged with the responsibility of safeguarding the environment to do more to engage with stakeholders in the discharge of their responsibilities, stressing the need for creating awareness and sensitization in that regard, adding that “from our schools, the knowledge and culture of protecting the environment should be inculcated into our children so that they grow up with that understanding”.
