A coalition of candidates for the Eleme Constituency seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly in the 2023 General Elections have declared their support for the Siminalayi Fubara led administration.
Leader of the Eleme Coalition of Opposition Parties’ House of Assembly Candidates Forum, Olaka Olaka communicated this position when he led his colleagues on a courtesy visit to the Leader of the Simplified Movement in Eleme Local Government Area, Oji Ngofa.
Presenting members of the Forum to Ngofa, who is a former Nigerian ambassador to the Netherlands, Olaka expressed the intention of the Forum to work with the leadership of the Simplified Movement in Eleme LGA to support the Sim Fubara led administration.
“The forum has intentionally come with our supporters to join forces with the Simplified Movement and the entire Eleme LGA leadership under the watch of the Ambassador to work and also to help contribute massively to achieve the goals and dreams of Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Executive Governor of Rivers state…”
Receiving the delegation, Leader of the Simplified Movement in Eleme LGA and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to the Netherlands, Oji Ngofa, welcomed the coalition into the Simplified Movement, expressing his desire to inculcate them into the political activities of the movement.
He conveyed Governor Fubara’s readiness to receive as many persons who are willing to join the move to enthrone justice, fairness and equity.
“His excellency Sir. Siminalayi Fubara’s hands are very much opened to receive as many as are willing to join in the move to enthrone justice, fairness and equity in Eleme and Rivers State in general….”
Members of the coalition include Olaka Olaka of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Chuks Nte of the African Action Congress (AAC) and Joy Nkpornwi of the African Democratic Party (ADP).
