The Bonny Chiefs Council (BCC) has applauded the infrastructural development strides of the Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House of Olom Abalama (Oguede) Community in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State under its current leadership.
Chairman of the BCC, Se-Alabo Dagogo Suola Claude-Wilcox, MON, JP, FSS, mni gave these plaudits on Saturday, September 30, 2023 while commissioning an estate built by the House in Oguede Community.
He was accompanied by his colleagues; the Chiefs and Heads of Allaputa House, Se-Alabo Nathaniel Allaputa; Christy Wilcox, Se-Alabo Golden Asinyetogha Kingston Christy Wilcox; Captain Hart Group of Houses, Se-Alabo Reginald Fiene Peter Hart, MON; Attoni House, Se-Alabo Abel Adafe Attoni; and Chief-Elect of Pollyn House, Wari-Alabo Bill Pollyn, members of the Bonny Kingdom Titled Citizens Assembly, among dignitaries.
Commending Wari-Alabo Iganima Jack Manilla Pepple for the commissioning of the estate, as well as other projects since ascending the stool as Chief and Head of the House, the numero uno of the BCC lauded him for demonstrating deft leadership and compassionate disposition to his kinsmen, praying for God’s protection on all members of the House.
Speaking, the Chief and Head of Jack Manilla Pepple Chieftaincy House of Oguede Community, Wari-Alabo Iganima Pepple said the event was epochal in the history of the House and community, noting that the project is aimed at improving the economic fortunes of the House.
Expressing his gratitude to the Chairman of the Bonny Chiefs Council and his colleague Chiefs for identifying with the House in its infrastructural development strides, Wari-Alabo Pepple commended his kinsmen for their support, which he said has spurred him to sustain the drive to move the House to greater heights.
The Jack Manilla Pepple House Head attributed all thanks to the sovereign God for the grace to attain this feat of erecting an estate for his House.
Speaking also, a former Chairman of the Jack Manilla Pepple House, Amaopusenibo Fred Pepple recounted the history of the chieftaincy house dating back to 1864 when it was founded by its founding fathers, noting that the current leadership has unleashed it growth potentials.
He praised the Chief and Head of the House for all the projects carried out and feats attained recently under his watch, disclosing that the estate project was his brainchild aimed at economically advancing the fortunes of the House, expressing the optimism that the progress ensued would be sustained un the current leadership.
