Three more candidates have indicated interest to appear on the maiden Legislative Debate holding in Bonny Island on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, thus bringing the total number to 10.

Team Lead for the Legislative Debate Strategy Team, Eliel Bluejack announced this in a statement on Sunday, March 4, 2023 in Bonny, Rivers State.

Bluejack disclosed that the House of Assembly candidates for Action Democratic Party (ADP), Felix Isinye-Hart, Youth Progressives Party (YPP), Bara Tobin, and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Abiekirim Dan-Jumbo in separate interactions with the Strategy Team, indicated they would attend the debate.

According to him, the Legislative Debate, a grassroots-driven interaction platform, which is first of its kind in Bonny LGA and Rivers State, “aims at providing the candidates with an opportunity to market their legislative blueprint, social impact vision and constituents’ engagement plan to their would-be constituents”.

He further informed that the debate would hold at the Executive Lounge of the Bonny Kingdom Chamber of Commerce and Industry but would be streamed live on Kristina Reports page on Facebook and also via Google Meet, urging interested persons to join virtually as in-person attendance was closed to the public.
