Brazil got a 2-1 victory over Spain in the men’s football gold medal match today the 7th of August, with Malcom scoring in extra time to break the tie and secure gold for his country.
Brazil’s Cunha opened scoring in the 45th minute and Spain’s Oyarzabal equalizing in the 61st minute and Malcom closing the show in 109th minute.
Brazil were the winners of the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
There has been 27 men’s Olympic football champions and this is only the fifth time it’s being retained.
