A school in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, Tamvina International School has clinched three slots among the five finalists in the preliminary stage of Spell Africa International Spelling Competition.
Three pupils of the school; David Green, Divine-Treasure Hart and Charis Pepple qualified for the finals of the 14th edition of the competition on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 thus securing three out of the five spots to represent the State at the National Competition.
Proprietor of the Tamvina International School, Adata Bristol expressed delight over the performance of her pupils, noting that the school has competed with other schools before but emerged as State qualifiers.

The organizer of the competition, Spell Africa International is a non-governmental organization (NGO), which aims at providing access to education to less privileged children in the society through award of scholarship and also motivating the interest of children in education by organising spelling competitions and rewarding excellence.
