Over the years, the Bonny Entertainment Award has lived up to its vision of building confidence in creative industry players in what they do and generally impacting society.
BEA’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Justine Tolofari, who said this in an interview during a visit to Kristina Reports in Bonny, Rivers State, announced that the full details of the next award event will be unveiled during a press conference at the weekend.
Tolofari said this edition of the award is part of the fifth anniversary celebration, noting that the sustenance of the awards over the years speaks to the impact it has made in the creative industry in Bonny Island and beyond.
“My name is Justine Prince Tolofari, the CEO of Bonny Entertainment Award. The Bonny Entertainment Award is all about improving talents in the Kingdom. It has been existing since 2019, this time, we are celebrating our five years’ anniversary.
“On the 9th of this month, that’s on Saturday, we will be doing our brand launching, which is coming up at the Bonny Youth Federation.”
He noted that the press conference will hold on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Bonny Youths Federation Secretariat along King Asimini Bypass (Berger Road) in Bonny by 3pm.
“If you check what’s happening in the Kingdom, since 2019 till date, you’ll see that most people believe in their talent.”
“They have been working hard because the entertainment industry has built them and groomed them to see that there’s a better future apart from what we have on this island.”
Earlier, the BEA CEO had intimated the Publisher/CEO of Kristina Reports, Godswill Jumbo, on the aims of the award, indicating the readiness of the BEA Team to partner with the virtual news medium in advancing the vision of the award to expand the scope of impact on creatives.
Responding, Jumbo, who was accompanied by the Chief Operating Officer of Kristina Reports, Eliel Bluejack, expressed happiness over the engagement, noting that his organization has always supported initiatives that mainstream talent development and impact society positively.
