Abia Police Command Welcomes 111 Newly Passed Out Constables

The Abia State Command Division of the Nigerian Police has successfully received the newly passed-out constables that were posted to the state as their place of primary assignment.

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, Danladi Isa, received the 111 newly passed-out constables on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the state’s division.

While addressing the officers, he gave his deepest congratulatory messages to them, welcoming them aboard the force and also, charged them with the responsibility of keeping up to the positive light the Nigerian Police Force is meant to carry.

He also, tasked them with the responsibility of upholding professionalism, maintaining ethical values and ensuring that the modern police standard instilled in them during training will be used effectively in line with the 21st century law enforcement methods.

“In accordance with the Inspector General of Police’s directive on community policing, the officers will begin their career not just in their state of origin but within their respective communities.” He said during a short speech .

The newly recruited officers were also reminded that they represent their families, communities, LGAs and the state, and were urged to be good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force and to avoid any conduct capable of tarnishing its image.

The new 111 officers have been posted to their various points of duties in different local government areas across the state and are expected to resume work on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
