Rivers Education Ministry Releases 2026 BECE Results

The Rivers State Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination, (BECE), results.

In a Public Interest Announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mina Tele-Ikuru, on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner, schools and the general public were informed that the results are now available.

The Ministry directed heads of all public and private schools in the state to access their respective results through the Rivers State Education Management Information System, (RIVEMIS), portal at rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng.

According to the announcement, access to the results will commence from Friday, September 18, 2026.

The Ministry also stated that the date for the issuance of hard-copy BECE certificates would be communicated subsequently. It added that the certificates would be supplied to both public and private schools free of charge.

The Ministry urged all concerned school authorities to take note of the development and comply with the directive.
