FUET Announces 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise

The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET) has announced the commencement of its admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

In a statement released by the university management on Tuesday May 26, 2026, candidates who selected FUET as their first or second choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as well as those willing to change their institution to FUET, are invited to apply. Applicants must have scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME.

The statement further noted that interested candidates are required to purchase the screening form at a cost of ₦2,000. The form is available online via the university’s official website at www.fuet.edu.ng, and the deadline for application is June 15, 2026.

FUET offers a wide range of programmes across several faculties. In the Faculty of Agriculture, candidates can study Agriculture with specializations in Agricultural Economics, Extension, Animal Science, Crop Science, Soil Science, and Horticulture and Landscape Management, as well as Fisheries and Aquaculture.

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences offers programmes such as Occupational Therapy, Public Health and Disaster Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Health Information Management.

Under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, available courses include Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Petroleum and Gas Engineering.

The Faculty of Environmental Sciences features programmes like Architecture, Environmental Management, Surveying and Geoinformatics, and Quantity Surveying.

In the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, prospective students can apply for courses including Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics with Electronics, Industrial Chemistry, Plant Science and Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Geology.

Additionally, the Faculty of Management Technology offers programmes in Accounting, Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
