Arco Maintenance Vows Sustained Support for Education, Community Initiatives as Lucille Snatches N1.5m Winner Prize in Science Quiz
Arco Maintenance and Engineering Limited says it will continue to support impactful educational as well as community-driven initiatives that are beneficial to communities in its operational areas just as Lucille International School clinched the star prize of N1.5 million in the 2026 Inter-Secondary School Science Quiz.
Managing Director of Arco Maintenance and Engineering Limited, Michael Okoigun stated this on Saturday, May 23, 2026 during the 2026 Inter-Secondary School Science Quiz Competition held at Government Girls Secondary School, Finima, Bonny.

He applauded the students for their exceptional team spirit, confidence, and intellectual disposition displayed throughout the competition, encouraging them to remain focused on academic excellence.

A statement by the company’s Community Relations Officer, Christian Ezekiel-Hart witnessed an outstanding display of brilliance and intellectual excellence by participating schools.

He disclosed that Lucille International Schools (LIS) emerged champions with an impressive 94 points to clinch the star prize of ₦1.5 Million, followed by Community Secondary School (CSS), Bonny which emerged first runner-up winning the ₦1 Million prize, while Bonny National Grammar School (BNGS) came third and claimed the ₦800,000 prize.
According to him, the major highlights of the event were the signing and presentation of cheques to the winning schools, presentation of gifts to outstanding students, award of certificates of participation, distribution of gift packs, and other consolation prizes to deserving participants.
Ezekiel-Hart note that the competition underscored Arco Maintenance and Engineering Limited’s unwavering dedication to promoting academic excellence, critical thinking, and youth development within Bonny Kingdom.




He expressed his company’s appreciation to the quizmaster and judges for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment towards ensuring a successful and credible competition, describing that competition as “a huge success”.

The statement said the event was witnessed by distinguished guests and stakeholders, which included a team from the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) led by Joseph Ogoh, a representative of the Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC), Christopher Allaputa, and Dr. Frank Abadi, amongst others.
