We’re Committed to Fostering Bonny Island’s Development – BAN Int’l Says at Agaja Bus Shelter Commissioning
The Brothers Across Nigeria International (BAN), Bonny Island Chapter, says the shelter it constructed at the Agaja Market bus stop for commuters is a demonstration of its unwavering commitment to fostering development in Bonny Island.
Chairman of BAN Int’l Bonny Island Chapter, Edosa Idehen said the commissioning of the bus stop shelter took place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Agaja Market along New Finima Road in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State.

He stated the monument was designed to serve both traders and buyers at the Agaja Market by providing them with comfort and relaxation, while making traveling safe for commuters.
“On October 4, 2025, Brothers Across Nigeria INT’L (Bonny Island Chapter) successfully commissioned a state-of-the-art bus stop shelter at Agaja Market, Bonny Island.
This monumental project stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering community development, enhancing public infrastructure, and promoting social responsibility.
The newly constructed bus stop shelter is more than just a physical structure; it symbolizes progress, unity, and the transformative power of purpose-driven collaboration.
It is designed to serve the people of Agaja Market and the broader Bonny Island community, providing a safe and comfortable space for commuters while contributing to the beautification and functionality of the area.”
The group commended the Chairman of Bonny LGA, Abinye Pepple for his commitment to keeping the market safe and nature-friendly, promising to sustain the synergy, adding that the project was designed in strengthen their core values while looking forward to making more impacts.
