Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has made a lifetime promise to Queen Dami, the wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye.

Portable, who confirmed his relationship with Queen Dami in August 2023, took to Instagram to celebrate her birthday, sharing a heartfelt message and photo of her.

The “Za Zu Zeh” singer described Queen Dami as his “Star Queen” and vowed to be with her forever. He wrote, “HBD Mummy Oba. My Star Queen. Alayo, I fly with you forever. God bless your new age. @officialqueen_dami.”

In related news, Nigerian artist Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, known as Bella Shmurda, has explained why he is reluctant to collaborate with Portable.

Despite acknowledging their potential for great musical chemistry, Shmurda expressed concerns about Portable’s controversial nature.

Portable has been involved in several disputes, including recent online conflicts with Davido and Zlatan Ibile.

During an interview with Max FM, Shmurda stated he is not ready to engage in any problems that might arise from working with Portable, despite recognizing their potential for producing good music together.
