Dear good people of Bonny Local Government Area, as my tenure comes to an end, firstly I want to thank God Almighty for His grace, mercy, protection and the enablement to start and finish this journey.
I thank and appreciate my dear Father, Amasenibo Joel Dagogo Ibaningo, Late Rt. Hon. Engr. David Rogers Irimagha, and Late Ama-Opusenibo Rodaford Opuwari Longjohn for believing in me as well as giving me this great opportunity (platform) to serve humanity.
Let me thank the good people of the unique Ward 7, most especially, the Larry Campaign Team for your support before, during and after the election.
I thank the leadership and members of our great Party and the general public for their support. Also to my Distinguished Honourable Colleagues, I thank you for the time we spent together.
It has been a very fulfilling and remarkable 3 years for me, as I interfaced with a lot of people at different levels, shared ideas, gained experience, and then, service delivery to my people.
As a public office holder, account of stewardship has been my watchword any time, and as such, as my time as a Councilor of Ward 7 in the Bonny Local Government Legislative Council (9th Assembly) come to an end, it is imperative I do this.
As part of my campaign promises, to run an all-inclusive system (even when I never envisaged that I will be the Leader of the House), I was open to members of my constituents and beyond.
At this point, please, permit me to enumerate my little achievements within these 3 years in office from my salary.
1. Production of 1,500 copies of Free Exercise Books for the children of my Ward members. I equally extended same to my Primary School Alma mater, St. Michael’s Primary School, Bonny.
2. Reconstructed the badly damaged rails and painting of the Banigo foot bridge to ensure safety of the people using the Bridge
3. I revamped the Banigo water system provided by Exxon Mobil that has not been in use for over 15 years, so that the community can have access to water.
4. I engaged 8 members of my Ward in various skill acquisitions: Tailoring, 5 persons (2 dropped halfway, while 3 finished the program). Scaffolding, 2 persons. Computer Training, 1 person.
5. 10 members of my Ward got #50, 000 business Empowerment package to either support their existing one or start up something very small.
6. Beautification of Holy Trinity Church in Banigo village and 10 cartons of floor tiles to support the cathedral church in Dema village.
7. Installation of security lights at strategic points (especially the waterfronts) in Banigo for the security and safety of the village and villagers.
8. From 2021 – 2024, I provided 30 Jamb Forms for members of my Ward and beyond, as a way to encourage education.
9. In my own little way, I ensured that I reached out to the Elderlies in Ward 7 in a way of welfare.
10. I refurbished the Banigo Isile-ogono Ama-ogbo and gave it a Modern face lift with tiles (in and out).
11. I seriously lobbied the Executive Chairman to give attention to the Banigo – Benstowe foot bridge that its construction is ongoing, and nearing completion.
12. I assisted over 30 persons (within and outside my Ward) to gain employment.
13. As a Councillor and the Leader of the House, I joined my colleagues to ensure the passage to law; 5 Bills, 4 Appropriation Bills, several motions and Resolutions as well as oversight functions on all projects carried out by the Executive.
14. The following persons assisted (Aids) me in this service delivery.

I want to thank my dear family for their support, especially, my lovely wife, Mrs. Edith Larry ID for her prayers, unwavering support and understanding throughout.
Let me extend my thank you to Dame Hon. Anengi Barasua Claude Wilcox, DSSRS, JP, the Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government for allowing me to work with you.
To a very dependable and hardworking Clerk of the House, Pastor David-West, Fubara Bratt and all the Legislative Support Staff, I can’t thank you enough for your excellent working relationship with me and my colleagues.
My dear people of Ward 7 and Bonny at large, I can’t thank you enough for your prayers, endless support, and even the criticism. It all helped in recording this huge success.
Let me most respectfully and sincerely, thank His Majesty, The King for His Blessings and all the helping hands he gave and is still giving to me. God Bless the King.
I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve you. I wish my successor a more productive time in representation of the unique Ward 7, as I hope and look forward to a continuous Better Bonny Local Government.
