Days of political crisis in the Akwa Ibom APC fold seem over with the emergence of Godswill Akpabio as the president of the 10th National Assembly.

Addressing Chapter Chairmen of the party who were on a solidarity visit, the Senior Special Adviser to the Senate President, Aniekan Abraham described the Chapter heads as the real foot soldiers of the party.

He declared his readiness to work hand-in-hand with the forum to achieve complete and the total unification of the party.

He briefed the forum on the need and importance of NIN and charged all the chapter Chairmen to mobilize their members across the state to enroll on the National Identification Number (NIN).

“There will be an electronic registration and revalidation of membership of the party nationwide very soon. Prepare for the exercise in your various local government as my office will ensure that a hitch free registration is done in Akwa Ibom State”

The Senior Special Adviser assured party faithful that his mobile lines are open and free for any kind of engagement that the Chapter Chairmen may wish to have with him going forward.

Earlier, the chapter chairmen led by Ntiedo Usoro expressed joy and gratitude to members of the Forum and also seized the opportunity to appreciate and thanked the Senior Special Adviser to the Senate President for accepting to host the Party.

He described the political adviser as the umbilical cord that links the party and the political class seamlessly with the Senate President and called on other appointees to borrow a leaf from him.

High point of the meeting was a vote of confidence passed on the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and the Political Adviser, Aniekan Abraham by the forum.
