As the countdown begins for the Noble Awards English Praise and Comedy begins, the Rotary Club and Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) have declared their support for the event billed for Sunday, December 10, 2023.

President of the Rotary Club of Grand Bonny District, Diepirinye Ezekiel-Hart expressed the support of his organization in a terse statement to the organizers of the awards, the Bonny Volunteers Council recently.

According to him, the Rotary Club of Grand Bonny District decided to support Noble Award 2023 because the “Noble Award is a great concept, designed to encourage great minds. Such idea deserves support from every well-meaning Bonny man and woman”.

“This year, we will stand behind the organisers, to guide and give them every necessary support within our power in order for 2023 Noble Awards to be successful.”

On his part, Chairman of the Eastern Zone of IYC, Ibim Ibiwari said the IYC decided to support the Noble Award 2023 as “this will encourage members of the Ijaw Community in Rivers State”.

He stated that “this event is one of its kind”, encouraging the Noble Awards team to continue with their good works, while calling on “great sons and daughters of the Ijaw nation to join in supporting such an outstanding concept that will encourage and inspire youths with good intentions”.

Inn a chat with Kristina Reports, Convener of the Bonny Volunteers Council, Emmanuel Jumbo expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club and Ijaw Youth Council for their support for the third edition of the Noble Awards, stressing that such support was invaluable.

He appealed to other organizations and well-meaning individuals to also avail their support for the awards as it is aimed at recognizing noble deeds and initiatives that have had positive impact in the society.

“A lot of times, good deeds are done, initiatives are carried out that make the lives of people better, impacting positively on the society but are hardly recognized. But Noble Awards seeks to identify, recognize and reward such for the overall good of society.”
