Some succour came the way of the elderly and less privileged in some communities in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State courtesy of Bonny Helping Hand Foundation (BHHF) recently.

The elderly in Kalaibiama and Park Communities, as well as, patients at the Zonal Hospital and Delta Specialist Hospital, both in Bonny Island played host to the BHHF team as they delivered donations to them.

The Bonny Helping Hand Foundation was founded by Samuel Jumbo, a social activist, community leader and entrepreneur as a means of actualizing his vision of helping the needy in the society, supporting the aspirations of his kinsmen and positively impacting those around him.

At the various communities and health facilities, the BHHF team met with leaders and officials there to intimate them of the vision of the Foundation, appealing for cooperation and partnership to amplify the efforts to positively impact more lives through the outreach.

In line with its avowed objectives of care for the less privileged, the Bonny Helping Hand Foundation also recently made a cash donation to a budding entrepreneur Mrs. Green to start a business of her choice.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BHHF, Samuel Jumbo presented the cash donation to Mrs. Green, who was accompanied by her husband, Inoma Green, at the Foundation’s office at Akiama, Bonny.

The beneficiary and her husband thanked the Foundation and its CEO, Samuel Jumbo, for the kind gesture, noting that “he is a man who has affection for the people. May Almighty God continue to bless and protect him because he has a lot to do for the community, Rivers State, and at large”.
